Now that we’ve moved to our new church on our beautiful property in Belleview, FL, we’ve also planned the design of the property around the church. Our plans include a beautiful Serenity Garden, a calm, peaceful garden where we can recognize/memorialize our loved ones; a place where we can sit quietly, undisturbed, for moments of prayer and meditation. This will be a very sacred space, created to be a lasting legacy.
The center of the garden will be laid out in the shape of a cross, with a large cross in the center honoring our spiritual advisor, Fr. George Papadeas. The area will be lined with beautiful trees and contain several concrete benches. A brick walkway will lead into the garden.
We want our parishioners and friends to have the opportunity to participate and be a part of this Beautiful Serenity Garden. Trees can be dedicated to families or memorialize loved ones. They will be identified by engraved plaques mounted at the base of the family’s tree. The concrete benches will also contain engraved plaques recognizing families or memorializing loved ones. The brick walkway will be comprised of bricks which may be inscribed representing families
or to recognize/memorialize family and friends.
